A while ago we played the “Newlywed Game” at my church. It was a pretty simple and clean version and one of the questions was this: “Wives, if your husband could have any car in the world, what would it be?” My jaw dropped at the responses. Out of 6, only one said anything exotic or pricey. I think two of the responses were for a new Chevy Mini-Van. Seriously? A Mini-Van? Now, don’t get me wrong, I think there’s value in having dreams that are realistic and I don’t condone coveting what others have….but what I’m really getting at is dreaming, I mean REALLY dreaming. If you’re biggest ambition is just to survive life…wow… what’s the point!? DREAM BIG! If you never seek, if you never ask, if you never chase after something, you’re surely never going to have it. (And obviously I’m not talking about cars here, I’m really talking about life!)

We’re closing on a house this week. It’s in an area 30 minutes away, closer to Cincinnati. People keep asking why we’re moving and what I want to tell them is that I just don’t want to live my whole life here and never experience what could be out there waiting for me.

DREAMS are out there and I HAVE to go chase them.
