As I’ve been looking around for photography tips and digging in a little more to the portrait scene, I’ve quickly learned that EVERYTHING in our current day is being photoshoped like crazy. Sure the photographers start out with nice photos, but they definitely spend as much, if not more, time retouching pictures than they do taking them. So, to all you girls (and guys) out there that are discouraged when you take look at pictures in magazines…don’t be.

This shot isn’t exactly “photoblog worthy”, but while we were in DC this little squirrel approached us more bravely than any other I’ve ever seen…if I saw the same actions coming from something larger like a dog, i might be fearing for my life. This thing litterally ran out in front of us and stopped, got up on it’s hind legs and just waited for some food…
