notes from the road (pt 1)

Well, tour is officially off and running. We had our “soft open” a few days ago which I think is just code for “mistakes expected”…it has actually gone pretty well despite the multitude of props that we have to handle during the show. We’re in Atlanta now with our official opening tomorrow. This week we get our first experience with a week filled with overnighters, meaning no day off and sleeping on the bus several nights…it’s going to be an experience. The good news is that we get a day or two off in DC, which would be one of the cities I would choose to have time off in. The public transportation system is great, there’s plenty to see…and best of all, most of it’s free! It should be a good time as long as it’s not too cold.

Still not a lot of progress on the photoblog. I’ve been taking more photos, but still not up to par with what I should be. Hopefully I’ll start feeling more inspired soon.
