I woke up yesterday morning in pure panic mode- “Christmas is next week! I haven’t bought anything!” You would think with Jen and I doing a Christmas show since October that we’d be thinking about such things, but to be honest, we just flat out haven’t. I mean, we knew it was coming…but it somehow managed to creep up on us despite having “Christmas” right in front of us. So…2 days of shopping later (online and otherwise) we’re almost done. I have just a few more things to pick up next week at the mall and hopefully by the time I get those purchased the rest of the flood will have arrived through the UPS/FedEx delivery man.
We’re planning to go home for Christmas Day…it will be a whirlwind trip, but I’m sure very much worth it. This may be the only time I’ll ever say this, but I’m really, REALLY hoping this isn’t a “white christmas”…otherwise we may be stuck in Nashville.
