We were walking into work today when Jen spotted a patch of ice and said “Watch the ice…” The next thing I heard was the sound of my body (and camera) crashing onto the pavement. I was ok and at first I just thought it was my lens filter that took the brunt of it…but I was wrong. The entire lens is busted, probably beyond repair. The good news is that it’s a relatively cheap lens. The bad news is that it’s the second lens I’ve broken in a year…so i’m down to 2 working lenses. Oh well, could have been worse…could have been the camera itself…or a one of my bones!
