My pastor and I were talking today about the church’s website, which I am in charge of. I recently just spent a few hours on an update that I completed around 1am. After I completed it, instead of waiting until the next day to inform him, I went ahead and sent an email so that he would see it when he came in to work. His comment today was something to the effect of “Dave, it seems like you are in your prime from about 2-5am”. Obviously this was not the first email I sent to him in the early hours of the morning.
For the past 2-3 years I have become quite the “night owl”. I mean, I always have been. I remember watching Letterman when I was in high school not thinking about the fact that a lot of my friends had been in bed for hours. Now that I’ve matured and can stay up to practically any hour I please, and I often find myself doing so. I don’t know why, but for some reason it seems that my mind just thinks better late at night. There are no distractions, no people calling, no birds chirping…just me and the silence. It’s in these times that I usually have some of my best ideas…and its for that reason that I have began to stay up late again…I’m just curious as to what idea my mind will produce. Don’t get me wrong, not all of my ideas are pure gold…but even those that are a serious flop are entertaining to read when I awake from my slumber.
So…if you want me to work on cold fusion, be sure to ask me sometime between 2-5am and I’ll see what I can do.
I like being up late too, but i’m not used to it at all because of work schedules. have to be at the stupid office at 8 or 9 am kind of messes up staying up till 2.

anythign special or am i just missing something?
please email me back moneyshot@gmail.com thanks
I know what you mean Dave. It seems the best time for productivity and creativeness happens from 1:00AM to 5:00AM!
