stocks, bikes, and mad money

It’s been a pretty good week. Not a lot has happened really, which is nice for a change. A few things going on with the church, but nothing overwhelming. The week started off nice with a stock sale of Google…I managed to pull in about $600 after buying the stock just last week…not bad for such a short time. Of course, if I would have held onto it for just 24 more hours it would have been $2000. Yes, it pretty much made me sick…but i did make a profit, so i can’t complain too much. I’ve been watching this show “Mad Money” on CNBC. I described it to Jen as a cross between a finance show and professional wrestling. The host, Jim Cramer, is pretty…energetic. If you’re into finance at all, you should check it out…it’s on at 6pm est.

I sold my motorcycle last week…the same one I’ve had for the past 6-7 years. It was kind of a sad day, but on the other hand I’m glad to have it gone. I was tired of always having to work on that thing! Also, to help with the pain I found another bike which I’ll be picking up Saturday afternoon. I’m going from a 1986 KX60 to a 2003 KTM 65. It’s only 5 more CC’s, but from what I heard it’s a world of difference. It should be a fun weekend.

For now, I’m off to bed so I can get up and hit the links(golf) tomorrow. yes, it has been a good week indeed.
