bye bye spam.

well, it happened again. spam made the comment count hit 271…up from 37 yesterday. thanks to the power of the internet and open source coding, I found a plug in for movabletype called MT-Blacklist. it’s a thing of beauty…bye bye spam.

As if it isn’t bad enough to get spam in my email inbox…I now have the pleasure of dealing with it on my blog. When will these people realize that we don’t want to hear it!? I mean, there have been laws and lawsuits already…what is it going to take, an army? I’m on the verge of shutting down the commenting system all together. I really like to see the comments though, it assures me that people are actually reading my site…but getting 90 comments about online gambling isn’t exactly what I had in mind.

maybe i’ll change the site to be more like jen’s…i like her site.
